The manager, Jose, and waiter, David, was absolutely the best customer service I have ever experienced in a restaurant!! Our food was delicious too! This little gem is too good not to tell people about.

We have always enjoyed BBD for a yummy breakfast but my sweet husband for family birthday dinner wanted to go in the evening. We had a group of 20 which the manager Jose graciously made sure we had room on a Thursday evening for and even allowed us to bring in a specialty dessert for food sensitivity reasons. Our server Sophie was so friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. The dinner portions were huge and the food great! Everything from the bacon cheeseburger to the Cajun salmon.

Had another great experience, with Crystal as my waitress, she rocked it. Warning the chocolate cake is to die for and with clean restrooms to boot, it makes this old time feeling of a restaurant a great hangout.

Discovered this Restraint a while back, and it is our favorite go to place. Food is great, and portions are huge. You will not leave hungry! Always great servers, polite and professional. And making sure you have a great meal! Love the ambiance, all the signs and pictures. and the building itself, with it's log cabin decor.

OMG!! I never thought I'd get HOME cooking from a chain!! My BFF had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes & gravy! YUM!! And I had the tri tip dip sandwich and SUPER YUM!! I've been looking for a good French Dip and now I've found it! And our server (Julia) was a-mazing! Kind, helpful and very attentive! Even the Mgr Jose joined in on the awesome service!! I will be back and bring my family!! A definite repeat!!!

The Black Bear Diner is more than just a diner. It's a unique experience, starting with the black bear decor. Very interesting carvings and pictures starting with the awesome bench out front. Very clean with attention to every detail. Wow is definitely the word that pops out of your mouth when the food arrives.
