OMG!! I never thought I'd get HOME cooking from a chain!! My BFF had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes & gravy! YUM!! And I had the tri tip dip sandwich and SUPER YUM!! I've been looking for a good French Dip and now I've found it! And our server (Julia) was a-mazing! Kind, helpful and very attentive! Even the Mgr Jose joined in on the awesome service!! I will be back and bring my family!! A definite repeat!!!
The Black Bear Diner is more than just a diner. It's a unique experience, starting with the black bear decor. Very interesting carvings and pictures starting with the awesome bench out front. Very clean with attention to every detail. Wow is definitely the word that pops out of your mouth when the food arrives. Very relaxed family diner with great food but be prepared to spend $12 per meal but also know that you'll most likely have left overs. Very few places that actually put quality along with its pricing
The food was terrific. The best biscuits I have ever tasted. And don't even get me started on the delicious home fries. Our server Brook was terrific. She was so nice and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed during our meal
From start to finish everything was great , the service and the food were phenomenal. We will go back if ever in the area.

I really like this cozy restaurant in Fayetteville located near Barnes and Noble. It is bear themed and they have a big dining room and huge menu selection of both breakfast and dinner items. The menu is a newspaper style which is fun and my kids love the decor and juke box! Food portions are large and pretty good and consistent. Mostly heavy comfort food so be prepared. We live close by the Fayetteville location and dine-in or take-out regularly. Last Tuesday we picked up dinner, including a special order - lettuce wrap burger. Delicious. Very friendly staff and we recommend the place highly!
