In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. We live close by the Fayetteville location and dine-in or take-out regularly. Last Tuesday we picked up dinner, including a special order - lettuce wrap burger. Delicious. Very friendly staff and we recommend the place highly!

Folks, Black Bear Diner has some of best lip-smacking delicious food you can wrap your lips around. Your taste buds will be doing backflips for their fit chicken scramble , and their pancakes are so good . They have biggest biscut I've ever seen , it's a meal in itself with their delicious gravy over the top of it.
