We've been regulars since it opened and even have family, who live an hour away, meet us there from time to time. We've all noticed a decline as time has gone on. Even our normal to-go order for my son, he's noticed the decline as well. Last night's mashed potatoes in his meal were really off. I thought maybe he was over exaggerating, but when I took a bite, I had to spit it out. We love this place and really want to see it do well. The staff is great, the place is clean. The food and/or communication in the kitchen seems ... read more
Wonderful place service is top tier and their breakfast is the best. And the ambiance is very at home style I'm in love.
There coffee was great and the red fried potatoes were awesome the California omelette was ok biscuit was dry
I always seem to get the Joe's Hobo omelette from this location because it tastes awesome!!! I switch out the biscuit for a pancake & it's like having a meal & dessert., Our server Makenzie did a great job! She was attentive, nice & took pride in serving us. Black Bear is my family's go-to for breakfast at any time of the day. We always bring our out of town guests/family here as well. Give Black Bear a try if you're in the Alliance Town Center area.
No changing table available for baby in Men's or Women's Tri-Tip Dip was delicious. One of our party ordered the bread pudding French toast and as the rest of our food was coming out, they let her know none of the toppings for the bread pudding were in stock. So that's disappointing. Server was nice and friendly, but first day using tablets made ordering clunky.
Had a great lunch here at the Black Bear Diner. The atmosphere is like a cleaner greasy spoon diner. The waitstaff are super friendly and easy to work with. For lunch expect a little waiting time before seating, but then again it's the luck of the draw. The lunch we had was great! And the portions are plenty. I ordered the chicken nest, which is new in the menu. Which is chicken breast in Hollandaise sauce, and onion straws which was excellent. Came with good broccoli and what tasted like real mashed potatoes and white ... read more
I've been here with my family a few times. They are polite friendly and considerate staff.. I've had breakfast lunch and dinner here.. Every meal has been on point. I recommend the French dip sandwhich the trip tip dinner plate and fresh squeezed OJ. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Cute typical diner style place. Nothing that sticks out food wise other than the giant biscuits but food is good. It's a great spot to take the family especially if they're young. The kids will appreciate the cute cabin in the mountains decor. Service was great. Prices are very affordable.
The food was amazing! The service was a little slow for the restaurant being basically empty. The restaurant was clean and had a cute gift shop at the entrance.
