Love this place! Staff is super friendly. We obviously come too often because they remember us and the kind of table we like(booth). Pancakes are sweet and delicious without syrup. Parmesan cheese crusted patty melt is delicious and my favorite. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is laid back, like eating with family and friends.

I started outside. I enjoyed the design of this place! It definitely has its own thing going and makes you feel like you are in a diner in the mountains. Lots of real wood logs around the trim and furniture. It was very simple and made you feel like you were at your grandparents house eating breakfast. I got the Creamy Vanilla Iced Cold Brew and it was average. It got the job done, but didn't blow my socks off. I didn't expect them to specialize in coffee anyways so I'm not upset. Lastly, the food was great! I ordered Joe's ... read more

Great service and a surprisingly great meal. It reminds me of a better version of IHOP. Not sure I would come here often, but it would definitely be a place to bring out of town guests, as the menu is large enough to accommodate all tastes and preferences.

We visited Black Bear Diner this Saturday morning around 9 AM for an early breakfast with our little family which included our 5-year-old who had just finished swim class. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Service: From the moment we stepped out of the car, the experience was seamless. We were greeted and seated within 10 minutes, which was impressive given how busy the diner already was with the early morning crowd, including plenty of local seniors and regulars. The staff, from the host to our server, we... read more

We've been regulars since it opened and even have family, who live an hour away, meet us there from time to time. We've all noticed a decline as time has gone on. Even our normal to-go order for my son, he's noticed the decline as well. Last night's mashed potatoes in his meal were really off. I thought maybe he was over exaggerating, but when I took a bite, I had to spit it out. We love this place and really want to see it do well. The staff is great, the place is clean. The food and/or communication in the kitchen seems ... read more
