Portions are large, food is good but pretty diner-ish. If you are gluten free or high allergens, this is not the place for you. We waited a really long time for our food once we ordered-and the restaurant wasn't busy. And it's always like that. The biscuits are mile high but are made for gravy or tons of butter, as they are dry. I will say that the chicken fried steak is a particular favorite of our family.
We've been a couple times before, but most recently on Mothers Day. The place was completely booked out the door... which speaks volumes of the restaurant itself! The waitresses and hostesses were as calm and jolly as could be, telling folks how long their waiting time would be, and seated folks as soon as they could.
