Food is great but the cleanliness of the women's restroom is disgusting every time
I have a mixed review for you. The restaurant was not real busy. My wife & I both ordered the open face Hot Turkey sandwich. After a reasonable wait, our meals were served but we had no silverware. We mentioned to our waiter that silverware would be nice. He acknowledged us and immediately went to another table to take their order. Then he went to the counter and was hanging around there for a couple minutes. A couple weeks ago our family went to breakfast at the Black Bear Diner in Gresham, OR. We have three kids, 2, 5 & 7. They all love going there, but going out to eat with little kids can be challenging. Penny, our server, was AMAZING! She brought the kids food out first, and was so patient and welcoming! When we left I was going to refill their juice cups with water, and she just brought clean kids cups full of water for them to take home. Unfortunately we did not have the best of experiences this last time. When we were ready to order our waiter walked away from our table before we could begin and then it took about 15 minutes for him to come back. They where unwilling to make accommodations for the vegetarian at the table, and we were missing some side items with our meal. We have never had a bad experience at blank bear before. We are willing to try again in hopes for a better experience.
MY BROTHER AND I HAVE EATEN THERE AT SAME PLACE TWICE NOW. I LIKE YOUR BURGERS ALOT BUT ONE PROBLEM THE COOK DOES NOT CHECK TO MAKE SURE ITS DONE OR NOT! FIRST BURGER HAD UNCOOKED MEAT IN CENTER I CANT STAND PINK IN A BURGER. DID I TELL THEM YES I DID. Wanted to give you guys a tip for the chicken pesto pasta. Mine was floating in olive oil, I actually collected a full syrup cup full of it off the plate- thought you might want to to some fixing up :) if I could I would send a pic, it was dripping off of the pasta. I usually get it at other locations and it’s yummy and creamy. Just needs a little fixing up :)

We got to the restaurant at 11am, our order was taken 30 mins later. And if it wasn’t for the people coming in sitting down and getting their orders taken right away, I wouldn’t have noticed. People across from us got their order taken within 5 mins of sitting down and minutes later received their appetizers at least. (Not exacerbating) Our food came out 55 mins later along with people who ordered there food not long ago.
