Best food and pie's that I've had for a long time from any restaurant near or far.
It was the day after Black Friday. 15 - 20 people were in line before we were seated. Took all of 8 minutes, and we were hosted by Frankie. Frankie is an amazing server. Told me cool stories about working Thanksgiving weekend, and made me feel like a local (I was not from Gresham, but I am from the PNW and a fellow server). The food was spot. on. I enjoyed my visit to black bear yesterday. My server Hope took very welcome and gave me exellect service and with her positive service with her smile and knowledge of how to treat her customers. Enjoyed having her as my server. Hope to have her as my server again. It my experience at black bear very enjoyable. Thank you Hope!
Our daughter picked Black Bear Diner for her 4th birthday dinner. I called ahead to make sure the bear would be there. The manager, Joy, not only assured us the bear would be present, but apparently had notified the staff of our reservation. Every member of the wait staff wished our daughter a happy birthday. Food is always yummy and have always had very good customer service!!
You can't come to Oregon without visiting Black Bear Diner. Always great food, great service, abundant portions, and one of the best coffee's. Do yourself a favor and have breakfast there.
Really good dinner, Hope was really nice. The in house saled dressing is really good as is the bread pudding.
