I LOVE THIS PLACE! We ate there in California, so having one this close in Lakewood... is a dream come true. The staff (Jen) were so amazingly friendly. It felt like coming home again. The decor is awesome as usual, and the food was to die for. The rib-eye was just seasoned perfectly and melts in your mouth. The tri-tip is a California mainstay so we just had to get it. I've been to this diner twice. The food is always great, and the service even better. Everyone is so happy and helpful. All around great environment.
My burger and fries were pretty good. Gf said she wasn't impressed with the chicken fried steak, but I think the guy sitting across from us oversold it saying it was too big for him to eat and it was pretty average sized. It looked good and she ate it so it couldn't have been that bad. I ate her biscuit and eggs and liked them too. Service was good
I can't wait to come try y'all out I have followed Black Bear Diner on Facebook long time so awesome the concept maybe one day I can be a part of yalls team food Serving or Food Running for now can't wait to come Eat excited about it �
