The home style quisine is good. The chicken fried steak was great! Without a doubt, one of the the best American chain in the area! The service however is superior to most of the restaurants in Pierce County! Everyone on staff has blown us away with their friendly attitude and eager to please customer service!

We were so excited when we saw the Black Bear Diner show up on Google Maps! We have been mourning the closure of the Olympia restaurant ever since they left the area. We'll probably be traveling from Olympia to Lakewood for dinner frequently. So happy it's back! Awesome food. Great prices. Friendly service. Huge portions. Can't ask for better!
