In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Excellent everything! They were very busy, but they were also hustling. we were very happy with our food & service. We didn't wait 15 min between being seated & recieving our plates. well done black bear! we will definitely be repeat customers!

A brand new restaurant which was packed. It took them less than five minutes to seat us. The service and food was wonderful! We’ll be regulars.
