This place is Good! I went to, two different Black Bear restaurants, in two days. One on Saturday, in Manteca and the next day (Sunday) in lodi. I ordered the same meal. I did it, because I was curious, (ordering the same meal. ) Going for two days in a row, was just coincidence, yes I could of gone anywhere. Totally opposite from each other, restaurants. Service is great upon entrance. Always greeted by the hosts, even if they are busy they always welcome us in. Servers are professional at their service. They are great at catching our attention when needed. And let me tell you guys about their pies, delicioso. Lava cake, coconut cream pies & bear claws are a must. Never disappointed.
the foods really good. Our server kept checking up on us and got us drinks refills as needed. The desserts are amazing, especially the pies!
I was dying of hunger and drove past Black Bear Diner. I've never been until today and it was the best sit down restaurant I've ever been to. Service was great. My sever Zoe was also the best server I've had. She attended to my every need and made sure my first visit was the best. I 100% recommended Black Bear Diner and be sure to ask for Zoe.
Come here every other week with my son. Get the steak and 2 egg combo. Never fails to be great
First timer at black bear! Loved great experience. LARGE portion sizes, wonderful customer service loved it super friendly definitely recommend! Management is super friendly super professional loved it!!!
The service is great. The food is good. Tasted fresh, but nothing special. It's not a bad choice if you're looking for a typical diner experience with typical diner food. We do like having kids options and senior portions too. Overall I would come back and reccomend it to others.
The food was so good when I had my schools senior breakfast. The only bad things with it is that their menus have no pictures so you don't know what you're really getting. That wouldn't be a problem if their menu was less complicated looking, but not gonna lie they're kinda cute because they're different from other restaurants.
Visited Black bear for the first time today. Ana was ouR server and she was incredible. Food was great, huge portions. Will always request to be seated in Ana's section when we return!
