Ate here on a Friday around 11 am, we were a parry of 5 and had a 20 min wait, which was reasonable. It's our second time dining here and we enjoy the portions. My son enjoyed the pancake; and I enjoyed the steak and eggs; the tuna sandwich was good, but wished the celery was cut into smaller pieces. Food came in at a timely manner and our server was prompt too!
Diner Was Very Lit With Bright LED Lighting, Not What I'm Use To In A Black Bear Diner. Services Was Quick And To The Point At 6pm. Food Was Delicious And Big Size Portions. Bathroom Was Clean. Parking Lot Was Clean And A lot Of Room.
The food was great and the restaurant was clean. What stood out the most was the service, Lucy was amazing. We don't eat out very often and typically don't remember the name of the server. Lucy left her mark! She was extremely welcoming since it was our first visit, checked on us frequently during our meal, and kept our coffee full. When we come back, I hope we get to see Lucy again.
Large portions of food for the price. Service was awesome. Little to no waiting and the seating was comfortable and customer service was on point. If you haven't been to Black Bear Diner, get there ASAP you won't regret it.
This location off 151 provided fabulous customer service. Their menu offered many different options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They even had desserts! We decided to split our plates so we could at least try their chicken friend steak and breakfast. Both super good! Large dining room and very clean setting.
Blah Blah Blah. First visit and wasn't impressed at all. Food was mediocre at best and the staff was even less attentive. I had the Tri Tip Dipper with fries. Fries were hot and crisp but way over salted. Tri tip was tough and dry making it difficult to eat. Won't be making a return visit.
Went into this place thinking it was Denny's level breakfast but was left with a pleasant surprise. I got their grizz plate and the pancake is really what you think a pancake should be. They use sweet cream in the batter it seems and it was just a great classic pancake. The hash browns were also better than I thought they were. The ham was soft and THICC. I would give this place a 3.5 but since there i still no half star system I will put this at a 4!
I had the lighter side chicken fried steak dinner and it was delicious. The biscuits are huge!!! The service was also great and atmosphere is just adorable. I plan on taking my husband there tomorrow. I did bring him home a blackberry cobbler. He loves blackberry anything.
Super cute place! The wait is extremely long which just proves how great everything is there. The food came out pretty quick considering how busy it was and mostly everything was to our liking. The biscuits were enormous and definitely worth sharing. I ordered the biscuits and really enjoyed it - would definitely reordered that meal. My husband got a sample-type meal and enjoyed mostly everything, but he felt the pancakes were disappointing. I thought they were kind of basic pancakes, nothing to write home about, but not ... read more
