Service is great. Get here early. The place can fill up quick. Food was great. I had a well prepared chicken fried steak. The Mac and cheese was stick to your ribs good. Also I had the most refreshing huckleberry lemonade a definite try.
Great atmosphere. I've had a few meals here and the other black bear diner on the south side. Both places had great friendly staff. Served quickly and food looked great however the food is lukewarm warm when it arrives at the table. I know it's not the servers fault so we pay and tip well but just wish it arrived hot. But I'm willing to give it another try.
My mom and sister wanted to try this place. The service was very fast and attentive; they gave us our food and drinks in a timely manner. The food was tasty and warm and we loved the layout. The customer service was great; they were very nice. The restaurant was clean and looked new. 10 out 10 experience will return.
Friendly staff. Variety of food options. Cornbread is delicious. Sweet cream Pancakes a little dry. Bread pudding was delicious. Nice furniture.
Food menu is very extensive. Breakfast all the time. Prices are very reasonable for the food and portions. Several locations in the area. Prime Rib on the weekend. American country food, no Mexican. Beer and wine choices. Friendly and welcoming people to guide you through the menu.
Love The breakfast. Recommend this place for family dining. Good fresh food every time.

This time the plan was to have some breakfast at this newer location, which we really liked. Service was great. Our waitress was informative, quick and very friendly. She checked on us enough to keep our drinks replenished, but not to the point of interrupting conversation. From the menu, I ordered the California Omelet $13.49 with avocado, mushrooms and Jack cheese. It came with a ... read more
