We are going to have breakfast as a family at this restaurant, and with the big surprise that the waiters do not want to serve anyone
I like Black Bear Diner but what gets me is that there is good music on the jukebox but all I can hear is the Mexican Regional music that's sounds like like Carnival music which is not appealing to me. The cook needs to wear eatbuds to listen to his jam. I am not at a Mexican restaurant where I know I will encounter this type of music. That's why I'm picky on which Mexican restaurants I go to.

Purchased the Grizz breakfast from Black Bear Diner in Sugarland. It was a to go order, but when I got home to my surprise, the bottom of the to go container was layered with a pool of oil"! Very disappointed, I can clearly see there was not a lot of care taken with the preparation of this order"!

So i wanted to try this location out again. But clearly was mistaken I shouldn't have. Paid 25$ for the Grizz and side of toast. Wow what a waste of money. I could have went to Denny's and got bigger portion sizes than this. But what gets me is that you pay all this money for either takeout / delivery and you get very little. No utensils. No pancake syrup. No butter. Yolks hard as hell - asked for over easy. No salt/pepper packs. Toast barley toasted. No where to send notes. Let me guess I bet you have to pay 5$ each for the... read more

We went Sunday after church. The place was really busy people coming and going. There was no waiting for a table. Our waitress didn't have much of a personality, guessing she had a bad morning. We had to ask for silverware twice, both times after she brought our food. We ask for napkins twice. The food was hot when it came out. I had a burger and fries. The lettuce on the burger had brown spots all over it. The pickles on the burger were the very end pieces. My wife had the turkey dinner which was a thick slice o... read more
