In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. We went to Black Bear on I-45 near chipotle and Olive Garden for my cousins birthday. It was about 20 of us with a lot of order and a lot of requests lol and they really took care of us. The food was great, service was quick and kind and the restaurant felt like home. A special shout out to out server Donque, the man was on it all night, over 20 people left satisfied thanks to him!

Atmosphere: cute place, very cozy and cute, their menus are super cute newspapers. Food: the chicken fried steak was good, it wasn't amazing but for the price we paid and the amount of food we got, I would say it was worth the price. Service was awesome and Toni was very sweet.
