RecommendedWe love Black Bear Diner! We always get great service when we come! We always talk to Tiffany (Frozen) when we come in, she is practically family!!! The food is great and the portions are large. I always get the SCRAMbowl and have left overs the next day!!! Katelynn was our server today, she does a fantastic job! If we’re looking for a great food at a great cost, this is the place!!!!

It's been awhile since we have been lucky enough to enjoy a Black Bear Diner. It's so nice to know that the service (kudos Josh) , portions and flavors don't change from location to location. We have now been to Mt. Shasta, Yreka, Medford, Gridley, Bend and now Ogden. Very pleased that the level of service and quality of food and friendly staff doesn't change.

The first time I tried Black Bear Diner was shortly after they opened. I was VERY disappointed on that visit. Cold food, bad service, and we noticed a lot of people around us were experiencing the same. I swore I would never go back, but since my husband wanted to try it, we did go in tonight for a late lunch/early dinner. My, how things have changed! ! I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. Kris was very knowledgeable of the menu. He was very friendly. The chopped steak special that I ordered hit the spot and was juicy and tender!
Absolutely amazing! Food was delicious and our server Kris was a gem, give the man a raise!
