In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Too much food, even on lesser menus. Biscuit too large, sausage bland. Bacon flavorless Coffee very good.
Food took to long. Fries were cold. Bread on chicken avocado sandwich dry and toasted to much. The only reason we are giving 5 stars is because of our waitress Rhonda. She was kind, considerate, professional and genuinely cared about all of the customers in her area. We loved her. We may return, if we do we will ask for her. Please let her know we think she is an assets to your diner.
