Outstanding friendly waitress
We ate there the second day open. We had to wait a few minutes for a table. Our server was excellent and the food was delicious. Everything came out quickly and exactly as ordered. I got eggs benedict but my friend’s cinnamon bun French toast was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! So glad Pasadena got a Black Bear Diner!

My family had food from here for dinner today (for take out) and it was fantastic! My wife loves breakfast for dinner and said the Eggs Benedict were among the best in the area. I had some of the bacon, and it was the best bacon I have had. I had the tri-tip sandwich, which was very good size and tasted great. All in all, a very good experience and I look forward to trying more menu items soon! I hope this place sticks around for a long time; try it out - you will not be disappointed.
The food was great and the service was amazing. The food seemed like it was made in house. The pancakes were good with or without the syrup. Great place for breakfast! Will definitely have to check it out during the dinner service.
