Went for lunch today, and won’t be back. I had chicken fried steak which tasted like a frozen breaded patty. Gravy tasted like it was made from a powder that had water added to it. Carrots and broccoli were not done. Husband had turkey plate and gravy wasn’t even warm. We didn’t tell anyone..just kindly put our napkins over food we couldn’t eat, paid our check and left.
I would like the opportunity to review the diner again sometime. In general, it seems fairly disorganized like most of the staff is still in training or learning the routine. The greeters and cash register attendant seemed a little lost. Everyone was pleasant and seemed to be trying hard. Time frames are longer than expected for diner food. Service was atrocious. Too many runners and no coordination. Our food was haphazardly put together and incorrectly filled. I have a standing rule for breakfast food. If you cannot prepare an egg in all of your listed fashions, then you need better training and better management at the line. For instance, an order of four over medium eggs. Service was slow. Waitress was pretty slow and couldn't pay attention when we orederd. Save your money, go buy a frozen dinner.
My family and I were really excited about trying out this new diner near us , it started out great the dynamic in the restaurant felt nice and a really cool lay out . Waitress was great. Hostess that seated us, not so much. Very disappointed in our chicken fried steak and onion rings. Not planning on returning.
Not worth waiting for an hour and being skipped at least three times...
