Clean, with reasonably priced breakfast fare. The servings were amply large, without being too much.
The best part of getting breakfast was that we were asked even before sitting down if we'd like something to drink. The coffee was served immediately. We shared a Denver omelette and pancakes both of which were amazing. The waitress was super nice and we're definitely going back to our new favorite breakfast place.
The food was great but my server, Axel, was even better. Hostess was very friendly and quick to seat me. Lots of choices on the menu.

Great Food at a great price with Awesome service. Always huge portions. Marcus was our server and he was delightful. All day breakfasts too.!
I get breakfast here, anywhere between 1 PM & 8 PM. The breakfasts are always great. Omelettes are terrific, the country potatoes are "to die for", & plentiful. The place is usually very clean, & the service is always good to great.
This is the place for comfort food. Everything we have ordered has been delicious. Marcus was our server and I always enjoy watching someone who is very good at their job.
The Black Bear Diner is our go to place for a wonderful breakfast, warm/welcoming atmosphere and especially clean. The food is excellent and they use quality products to produce you a meal that is overflowing with very tasty food and a great atmosphere. Never having been to a Black Bear Diner, and on the recommendation of friends, hubby and I had breakfast at the Scottsdale location, which is about 3 miles from the Mayo Clinic Phoenix Campus. The breakfast food was great; the bottomless cup of coffee was tasty and hot, not the tasteless, warm water coffee other chains serve.
