Had a nice visit. Service was on point, food arrived fast and hot. Much brighter inside than the old Village Inn was.
Marcus took care of us tonight and the service was outstanding. My boyfriend recently had jaw surgery and Marcus was super accommodating by finding a main menu dish that he was able to purée so my boyfriend could still enjoy it. Food was excellent and we will definitely be back as regulars to see Marcus!

The app does not allow me to give a 2 1/2 star rating but that's what I feel it deserves. I had blackened salmon with pesto sauce, and the salmon and pesto were good but the vegetables were so overcooked they were inedible. The green beans were definitely out of a can and I think there's a good chance the broccoli started out frozen in a bag. My husband had a Reuben sandwich with a cup of chili. Absolutely fabulous in every way. The stuffed French toast is off the charts fantastic. Combined with your mild homemade sausage, this is truly an incredible combination. The service is always very positive and the staff shows consistent excellent customer rapport. Accolades to the entire black bear diner operation.
I ordered to go. The staff was very nice. The pot roast was good. I did not care for the fish and chips , they looked and tasted like frozen fish sticks. I may go again and try something else. I think it's good for old fashioned diner/comfort food.
I am very impressed with the service and the quality of their food especially breakfast, the meal is served hot and fresh and the coffee is tasteful too! You can always tell when a restaurant is managed properly, everything seems to run smoothly and their staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I recommend this restaurant!
Marcus is the Man! And this place has amazing service! They accommodated our large hockey team and did a stellar job. We cannot brag about this team enough. Marcus did an amazing job leading the service of our 35+ party! Thank you!
