I love Black Bear diners. From Reno to Las Vegas to (finally) Scottsdale. Always great breakfast options- good coffee and drinks - oh the deserts - skip breakfast and start with a desert The variety and options are just excellent. Today I am going with one of my favorites - corn beef hash with over easy eggs on top - and hash browns and a busker and the wonderful coffee.
So this morning I wanted to stop and get breakfast so I thought of Black Bear diner it is on my way to work I had stopped in there prior and I spoke to this beautiful young girl but I didn't get her name the first time. Today I got her name her name was Mia, I gave her my order she brought me my coffee just like she did the first time I went to the ladies room and I came out and my order was ready that fast the tip I left wasn't much for the service that I got impeccable service, thank you Mia for making my day. My husband and I love Black Bear Diner! Tonight we went to this location for the first time and Marcus was our server -- well he was the ONLY server for the night. He was very knowledgeable of the menu, had great suggestions, and had a great attitude overall despite how busy it was at the time. The food was delicious. I got the basic breakfast with 2 eggs, ham and a waffle, and my husband got the chicken and waffle dish...their waffles were sooo yummy especially with whipped cream and strawberries. Very good breakfast. Great service even though they were shorthanded. It became our go to place for the week we were there.
Great food, you must be hungry to eat here, the portions are big, the food is excellent and very good customer service too.

Might have been the best chicken fried steak I've ever had! Marcus treated us really well and we'll be back again soon. Just wish I'd found the place sooner!
