The app does not allow me to give a 2 1/2 star rating but that's what I feel it deserves. I had blackened salmon with pesto sauce, and the salmon and pesto were good but the vegetables were so overcooked they were inedible. The green beans were definitely out of a can and I think there's a good chance the broccoli started out frozen in a bag. My husband had a Reuben sandwich with a cup of chili. Absolutely fabulous in every way. The stuffed French toast is off the charts fantastic. Combined with your mild homemade sausage, this is truly an incredible combination. The service is always very positive and the staff shows consistent excellent customer rapport. Accolades to the entire black bear diner operation.
I ordered to go. The staff was very nice. The pot roast was good. I did not care for the fish and chips , they looked and tasted like frozen fish sticks. I may go again and try something else. I think it's good for old fashioned diner/comfort food.
I am very impressed with the service and the quality of their food especially breakfast, the meal is served hot and fresh and the coffee is tasteful too! You can always tell when a restaurant is managed properly, everything seems to run smoothly and their staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I recommend this restaurant!
Marcus is the Man! And this place has amazing service! They accommodated our large hockey team and did a stellar job. We cannot brag about this team enough. Marcus did an amazing job leading the service of our 35+ party! Thank you!
Went for Sunday brunch and loved it. Food is great, server was good and noise level moderate for every table and booth taken. But didn't have to wait arriving at 11:45am. No reservations or call ahead. We had the thick-cut French Toast with fruit and the Bear's Choice - scrambled eggs with sweet cream pancakes and crispy bacon. Yum! Will be back soon. Note there are 143 locations in the western US.
This is a fantastic spot for breakfast and for dinner. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and nice. There was not a wait and we were seated promptly. This is a family friendly restaurant and well worth the stop if you are in the area.
The staff at this restaurant makes all the difference! We come here because I love their French toast and hubby loves the Cobb salad. Today they were busier than normal and there was a small wait. We watched as people were angry and rude to the staff for things being a little slow. I wish these people would have paid attention instead to the rush the staff was doing trying to serve everyone the best they could. Great food! Very large portions. Servers and hostesses are very friendly. Our first visit to a location was in Idaho. We found they also have locations in Arizona. Both locations were very nice!
