In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. This diner is open everyday even on Holidays!! The food is amazing especially the pancakes!! The atmosphere was great and staff was very friendly and service oriented. If you are touring the St. Louis/St. Charles area the Black Bear is a must!!
