Food was great as well as the service , everything was perfect definitely coming back very soon
The food was amazing. Had the parm cheese burger. Excellent flavor. Also had the loaded grits. Wonderful! Service is excellent and the ambiance could be updated but that does not overshadow the food offerings and the great staff! It's a must try.
Walking into Black Bear Diner is like taking a step back in time. It's a new building with an old fashioned atmosphere. That being said, my husband got the steak and eggs with 2 of the biggest biscuits we have ever seen. He liked both of them. I got the eggs Benedict which I did not care for at all. However, they have the absolute best sweet cream pancakes. So I literally tried to devour those. I'll have to try something else when we go back and maybe update my review then. Until then, it's a solid 3-3.5 stars and worth goin... read more
We call this place Sharon's because that's why we go there. She is a massive asset to this location. The food is great too but with prices going up everywhere, great service is even more important-Sharon NEVER fails.
MAYBE 3.6 Stars : With better mngmnt / oversight , they could easily do better. it is a nice place with nice staff & eclectic menu I'll; try something else next time .. Tonight , I had FRI Spcl Fish FRy (catfish ?) ... Sorry, cannot recommend. 1St ; COLE SLAW IS NOT GOOD mostly ( shaved carrots, purple cabbage 2nd - hush puppies nearly inedible,, over fried outside/ under-cooked inside,, 3Rd - catfish is smallish , low quality 'cuts" , NOT full fillets, ( Special ... read more
I am writing about Eddie or Edwin's outstanding customer service at Black Bear Diner, in SugarLand. Eddie was kind, polite, conversational and just plain old SUPER NICE. We were tired, hungry and had never been to Black Bear Diner. EDDIE was a refreshing breath of Fresh Air. So Kudos Eddie of being a shining g example of what customer service is suppose to be and look like. Start giving the new or current generation some classes because you are the Gold Standard in me and my child's book. Thank you. I also shared my experie... read more
This place doesnt go wrong with anything on their menu. I've had breakfast, and dinner and it's always a good experience. Of course on the weekends it's packed for brunch but everything is still timely done. I recently took my son for breakfast and sat at the bar. Were Miguel took good care of us. Will definitely go back and keep trying new items.
This place never disappoints. I've recommended to several people and they always enjoy the food and service. The last time I went I had the French toast and I must say I'll order it again.
my favorite breakfast spot! the grits are so thick & yummy, the pancakes 10/10 & the service is always on point!
