The host and servers were great and obviously overwhelmed.. The manager i am assuming was doing nothing but yelling at the staff while holding a piece of paper.. The host a very pleasant black man was getting our drink order and the manager again doing nothing kept yelling at him not to get drinks.. The atmosphere was stressful because we felt bad for the staff. This was are third visit there and we have always enjoyed. But we will stick to going earlier in the morning it seems to run better... The staff has horrible customer service except 1girl which was excellent, she took our order and turned it in and told our supposedly to be waiter,which had walked by us more than twice.Manager could care less,got upset that my mom pointed to his attention that our food was sitting on the ready shelf for a while and we would like to eat ,still took 5minutes to get!! And it goes on from there.
Employees that enjoy their job,pay attention,don't have attitude.Their was one girl that was VERY good and she was the only one that seemed to care.But she wasn't a waitress,she was cleaning,filling salt pepper etc... and she took our order.

I brought some friends there for my third visit. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and a salad. The grilled cheese came with only one slice of cheese on it (like the individually wrapped pieces I buy for home use) which did not even cover to the edge of the bread. I sent it back and later got a proper sandwich. The windowsils and ledges are very dusty and we had a dead fly on our ledge. I don't think my friends will be going back either.

Hire new cooks & wait staff. There is a huge lack of communication in this organization. 4 visits & still having the same issues with a lack of service & poor food.

We arrived at 8:15am. Our order was taken immediately. We waited 45 minutes for our food and then it was wrong. My son asked for crispy hash browns and I asked for hashbrowns and got the other potatoes. Took forever to get my biscuit with 1 butter. He redid the potatoes and they were crispy on the top. I can't understand cooks that they think this is acceptable. This was our 2nd visit and the 1st wasn't much better but you hadn't been open more than 2 weeks then. This is not acceptable. We almost walked out!!!!

ME AND MY WIFE WENT TO BLACK BEAR DINNER ON 9-28-2017 IN THE LATE AFTERNOON . THE SERVICE WAS GREAT BUT WE ORDERED JUST SANDWICHES I HAD A PATTY MELT AND WHEN I ORDERED IT I TOLD THEM WELL DONE ON THE PATTY MELT GOT IT DELIVERED TO MY TABLE IT WAS MEDIUM AND RED YET INSIDE PLUS MY WIFE ORDERED A REGULAR CHEESEBURGER WITH JUST LTM AND SHE ASKED FOR IT WELL DONE AND WHEN SHE GOT HER MEAL IT WAS RAW SHE TOLD THEM SO THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAKE ANOTHER SANDWICH FOR HER THEY SAID ABOUT 15 MIN WAIT. Arrived at just before 6pm. told it would be a few minutes as they had to put a couple of tables together for 9 people. after 20 plus minutes, One of us went and asked what was the problem. told the party that was at was to be our table had not left, if he wanted he could go tell the other party to leave. this was the manager! My family and 2 friends went to your restaurant ( Tucson Az, Broadway Location) to enjoy time together and dinner.
