I signed up like a week ago and have no free birthday coupon. I went to Denny's and all the proof they needed was my id showing it was my birthday. I couldn't get my free birthday breakfast even though I signed up on the passport and the club with this restaurant. I ordered a burger and asked if there was dairy in the ingredients of the fries and it didn't seemed like they understood my allergy. I ordered the chicken fried steak meal with red potatoes. the steak was paper thin, the breading was super thick, the gravy was gritty from not letting the flour cook down, the gravy was bland, and the potatoes, peppers, and onions were under cooked and still crunchy? my son however ordered the western bbq burger, and said it was the best burger he has ever eaten. first and last time visiting. waited for 30 minutes what was told would be a 15-20 minute wait. A big party walked right and was sat. I asked the hostess if they took reservations and if not why that family was able to walk right in. She fumbled with her words like she had to quickly come up with a reason. Waiter didn't listen very well. No flavored coffee creamer this web site difficult to manover through I came in for lunch invited a friend who had never eaten there before no sweet potato fries, no flavored coffee creamer. We ordered bisquits and gravy with eggs. Bacon pancakes and chicken waffles and coffee. OMG!!!! The coffee was like mud!!! I asked if they could make a pot less stron and was told NO! We come to eat here every single weekend, but yesterday I orders a breakfast plate and had the wrong patatoes and the wrong cheese And on the burger we specifically said no onions on both Burgers And the lady did not even offer to take the plates back to replace them or even offered to take it off our bill and she just apologized.!! This really makes me not want to come back ever!!
During our visit in Tucson we waited 20 + minutes to get someone to take our order. Only after waving down an employee who passed by many, (numerous) times did he stop. We are ready to order. Too many employees were walking back and forth 90% of the time doing nothing more than filling a glass of water. Kitchen people were eating, sticking food in their mouth and playing around. Have orange juice for breakfast and upgrade your ridiculous staff. They acted like total assholes. Its unbelievable!
The atmosphere is great and the staff seem great but I have been terribly disappointed in the food. The first time I ate at the diner in Tucson I had Dinner. The chicken fried steak was grisly and did not have a good flavor. The next time I ate breakfast and I was not impressed with the cinnamon roll french toast.
