In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Nice new remodeled restaurant ! Jammed with people today but the crew is organized and well trained already. We only waited 5 minutes to get seated even though the parking lot is full.

We have eaten at Black Bear since the first one opened in Mt Shasta. If you want an experience I would recommend the drive to Northern California. It’s Beautiful and worth a Day.
