Service here was horrible we waited for a long to receive our food. Our food was brought out and was extremely over cooked and French toast were under cooked. Everyone else who was there was being served quickly. Huge disappointment from traveling all day from Washington state.
We waited over an hour for our food, while several other tables that arrived after us were served first. No one checked in or gave an update until we were about to walk out then suddenly our food was "ready," so we just took it to go. The service was slow, unorganized, and frustrating. Not what we expected at all.
The Cobb Salad was horrible and took over an hour to make. Chicken was over cooked and cold - twice. Asked for no onion but there were plenty. The waitress that took our order disappeared and the waitress who followed did her best. Two tables walked out while we waited for our food. Bad experience and won't be back. Real lack of management.
Slow, slow, slow. Friendly staff, extremely slow service. If your not a local you will get ignored. Convenient access to the I5, clean. Didn't get served food and left after 30 minutes.

Good morning, we are a family of 6, was excited to have the kids try Black Bear Diner In Willows, CA. We walked in and the middle aged server yelled out to the chef, looks like we got 6 at the door before she even greeted us, seemed rude. She cleaned a table or two and then said follow me this way as she walked thru the wait station where they keep all the coffee cups and employee items. Ambience was gloomy. My husband got the Scram bowl for breakfast, was good except they poured gravy all over the top of it! Kids pancakes w... read more

I came into the Willows Black Bear Diner Friday night around 7 pm the food and everything was amazing, but the air conditioner was broken so it was really hot and I really don't think it is okay for the cook to be in the hot kitchen with no ac for hours.
