Been to many black bears before bu this one tops them all. Amazing service, genuine smiles and great food. Don't know why the star rating is so low because this is the best black bear my family has ever eaten at.

Black bear Diner has Always been a great place for My family and I to have dinner. Unfortunately, this Thanksgiving wasn't one of those days. 2 of us had the Turkey dinner. 2 of us had prime rib dinner, and one of us had macaroni and cheese. 4 of us had stuffing on our plates. Sadly, it tasted and smelled like it had been sitting on the shelf for 10 years! The waitress didn't know what to say. And the cook acted like he didn't care. I did an online order for biscuits and gravy , and if I go to black bear diner again , it's going to be in chico. Just a few months ago I had biscuits and gravy, and the container was full With plenty of gravy. Well , this time I order from willows , and there's One biscuit and barely enough Gravy , it was super dry and the bacon didn't seem like it was cooked long enough. I'm really disappointed.I mean spending $11 on 1 biscuit and barely any gravy.Next time I'm just gonna go to Wendy's.Why get the same amount but for only ... read more

Service here was horrible we waited for a long to receive our food. Our food was brought out and was extremely over cooked and French toast were under cooked. Everyone else who was there was being served quickly. Huge disappointment from traveling all day from Washington state.

We waited over an hour for our food, while several other tables that arrived after us were served first. No one checked in or gave an update until we were about to walk out then suddenly our food was "ready," so we just took it to go. The service was slow, unorganized, and frustrating. Not what we expected at all.

The Cobb Salad was horrible and took over an hour to make. Chicken was over cooked and cold - twice. Asked for no onion but there were plenty. The waitress that took our order disappeared and the waitress who followed did her best. Two tables walked out while we waited for our food. Bad experience and won't be back. Real lack of management.
