I'm never returning to any black bear dinner again. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my food was not prepared correctly. My eggs were hard like a hard boil egg, my bread was dry and looked like it was taken out the freezer. Never had a dry eggs Benedict before. Then when I pay the guy charges me the wrong drinks. Waiter knew my food wasn't done correctly and all he does is not charge me for a coffee, instead of replacing my food.

I can't with good conscience give this place even one star but I have to give it one star to post a review. Unfortunately, this is the only full restaurant other than Mexican, Fast Food and Pizza. We will bypass this town on future travels.

Terrible service! Busy Friday holiday weekend! One waitress, one "hostess", took 30 minutes to seat my wife and I. Hostess told us they had no dishwasher & as a result, they had no silverware. Finally seated us and took orders from customers who had come in after us! Under staffed caused so many problems. Waitress is either extremely hyper or on something? I kind of felt bad but we waited it out hoping to get our food?

I haven't been to Black Bear Diner in quite some time, as my last experience prior to ordering today was not great. I wished I could say that my order today was better. I should have taken photos to upload, but I had the food delivered via Doordash and felt like the presentation may not have been the fault of the establishment. The wait to receive our breakfast was extreme. I wouldn't necessarily blame the help, but attribute the 'lacking service" to poor management. Might have been nice to receive, at least, a few informational words with our coffee. Can't rate the food because after nearly an hour and a half of unacknowledged sitting, we left to have lunch, across the street.
