Decent food, terrible service. My husband and I have been to Black Bear Diners while on vacation, and have probably visited different locations at least a dozen times. The food is consistently delicious and we always feel like we are at home- the staff take care of you and are kind. This was NOT the same experience here at the Wilsonville location. First, our waiter never greeted us or asked us how we were doing. He showed up and quickly asked if we were ready to order. He took our order and left. One major issue was when... read more

I am a huge fan of this chain. When I get the opportunity to eat at black bear diner it is an event for me. They are my favorite diner on the planet and I've never had anything but good things to say about them. From their story to their mission statement to their clothes. I'm almost a super fan. My children have all had their pajamas throughout their lives. I was in wilsonville and was excited to see there was a black near diner close to the family fun center. My son and I decided to not eat at the fun center so we could ... read more

Black bear is good for breakfast and that's about it. Since covid the quality has gone down hill dramatically. Don't waste your money.

I ordered through Yelp which asked if I wanted an order for pickup or delivery. I picked pickup. I selected the items from a limited menu. Paid. Added a tip. Agreed to a service fee. Paid through Google Pay. I got an alert my order was ready. I just needed to give them my name and order number. I got to the restaurant. Walked in and was met with a nice gal that asked how she could help. I told her I was picking up the order. It was ready BUT NOT PAID for. I showed her my screen she called over her manager. The manager is nop... read more

I have gone to this diner numerous times and must say that their breakfast menu is the best around. VERY VERY good!!! I highly recommend getting a very tasty breakfast there. Now, if that was all, I would give this diner a 5 star rating and move on , but I gave them 2 stars because besides breakfast, the rest of their menu is way below par. I once ordered the rib eye steak dinner, but found the rib eye to be extremely small and extremely tough to chew. I only ate about 1/2 of the rib eye due to how absolutely bad it was.... read more

I've been here twice. The first time I came with my family and their was about it 10 of us. We sat in the back and this was before covid and the wait staff weren't very nice nor did they like that we were even there to be honest. They also didn't clean up from the table before us so there was food all over the floor. One of my aunts actually pointed it out and the wait staff just shrugged it off. So she went and grabbed there little roll over vacuum and clean it up bc she didn't like seeing it. And instead of stopping her or... read more

Horrible service!! The waitress only had 6 tables when we came in. We were ignored completely. 2 other tables that came in after us had their orders taken before we got water. Water that we had to get up and go ask someone at the front desk for.

A real disappointment. We made the hike out to the Beaverton and Troutdale locations for years and were so excited about the Wilsonville store opening near us. After a few years now, it is so hit or miss that it's hard to go back there. Service can be great or just awful. Our most recent experience on a Monday morning around 8am with our 4 year old took 45 minutes to get our food. Other tables all around us were having the same issue and the place was only about a third full. If that was the only time that we experie... read more
