First time having dinner at a Black Bear Diner. Ordered a Blue Moon beer with the Turkey plate and sides of green beans, mashed potatoes and a salad. The beer came out first, in a bottle with a frozen mug. I poured it over the orange slice. Tasty! The turkey was moist and covered in gravy, as were the mashed potatoes with skins, green beans had onions and bacon, which is my favorite. Appreciated the cranberry sauce. Salad was very fresh. Josie is an Excellent server & a sweetheart. She's been in restaurant business several years. As a previous restaurant owner I was impressed with her service & the food the last I was there. So today I returned simply because of Josie! Of course the delicious biscuits and gravy topped with a few poached eggs served hot to a hungry road warrior may have motivated as well. It's a Very Good Location! In fact even the host/busser acts more like the Manager. You can tell it's very well managed

Our Server Jessica was amazing. The Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap with garlic fries and a Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert was the bomb. Absolutely great service, I highly recommend them.

Black bear is kind of what Denny's wishes it could be on a good day. Not that it's going to change your life. But this one in particular seems quite good. Must be good management, the staff seemed happy and friendly. One of the better Black Bears I have patronized.
