In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. The dinner is very well decorated. The staff are helpful but the food is wonderful, we have stopped at the Black Bear Dinner in Grants Pass and in las Vegas and never had a bad meal. Great job guys another awesome place to eat in Yuma.
We were so glad when we got back to Yuma and found out there was finally a Black Bear Diner here. The servers here are very good, especially Rachel. The food is excellent. We enjoyed it so much we have been twice in one week.

This restaurant serves great portions of good homemade cooking with a flare of something different like sweet potato French fries. The prices are medium to medium-high. They have a “smaller portion” menu not just for seniors or children but for people who eat less. The price is only one dollar and change less on that menu (could be priced better). The service is very good and attentive. My husband and I have made it our new “go to” restaurant.
Absolutely amazing and a ton of food, go hungry, we had a large group and everything came out perfect and cooked just right
1st time yesterday w fiancee. Waiter was the best ever. Food was delicious. Will be going back. Price was meh.
