Very happy with my decision to switch to Dr. Blanken. Very friendly but knowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend.
There for meeting about bunion arthritis and hammer toe. Explained everything he will do and made sure I was fine about the procedure. I told him I will see him in April for my surgery. Very satisfied with his manner and explanation

Did a fantastic job answering my question and giving me information. Really good job connecting with the patient and I did not feel like the examinations were rushed.
Dr. Blanken treated a broken bone in my foot 3 years ago. When he discharged me he advised that I follow up with my Primary Care doc because the bones in my feet were “soft.” I’m glad he did. Turned out I had parathyroid disorder and my body was lacking calcium. Eventually the parathyroid had to be removed. However during surgery it was found the parathyroid was actually resting on my aortic artery and was impairing my ability to breathe correctly. Thank goodness he made that recommendation to me. Most likely saved my life!
Dr. Blanken helped me understand my problem and ensured that I had the proper interventions to prevent the issue from getting worse. He has a warm, approachable bedside manner and is clearly motivated to empower his patients to understand their podiatry issues. I highly recommend him!
So this review is not in regards to him but the facility he works at.When you call and make an appointment with a doctor and you say you need your nails cut and then get to your appointment and after being told to sit in the wrong waiting area and then when you are finally called back you are told this doctor doesn’t cut nails. Then why was I even scheduled with him. I then walked out.
