I highly recommend Dr. Buzzanell and his staff. They are competent, personable and compassionate.
I would love to leave a 5 but no one reads them- as it should be. As a health care professional, I have to say that the things that are most important in a pain clinic are met here in spades. Do they care? Check. Are they competent? Check. Do they listen carefully? Check. Dr. Buzz obviously cares deeply about his patients and he is an incredibly smart and amazingly competent doc. I had an appointment the Monday after the ice storm which they TEXTED and said THEY NEEDED to reschedule. Ok, I said I would be AVAILABLE THAT WEDNESDAY AT 9:30. THEY CONFIRMED THIS APPOINTMENT. I arrive Wednesday at 9am (after rearranging my schedule) and the receptionist told me that my appointment was for the day before, TUESDAY. Um, sorry no. I've had a great experience with Blue Ridge over the past 5 years. We have built a strong relationship with the staff and Dr. Buzzanell, helping me live a better quality of life, not just with medications and procedures but also physical therapy. They ask questions to make sure what they did was effective. It's definitely a place I recommend to friends and family.
I drove an hour and a half to see this office. Had to have my Dr. send 2 referrals. They called to schedule a month later. When I get there they tell me we don't accept your insurance, but we will take your cash! That's not the way to run a business!
I'll tell you about my experience when I've got more to tell. But thus far it has been pleasant. Just not great listeners. I'm going to have to be more proactive.
