My late mother was under the care of Bluebird Harrow for the final four years of her life. I must thank them for the care shown to her, the dignity given, and for meeting her needs when she opted to die at home. The care plan was developed from domestic to palliative care, and Bluebird largely met and adapted to her needs. A special mention to Bhumika, one of mum's most consistent carers. I have 2 relatives under the most wonderful and loving care of Bluebird in Harrow. I would only recommend this lovely care agency, because they do just that, they care. The owners and managers go above and beyond the call of duty and it doesn’t matter what time of day or night, they are there with love and support. It's advertised as £8 an hour, but really is split into 30 mins(£4), 45 mins (£6), and 1hour (£8) slots, and almost all visits are 30 mins long. Unless you have a fair bit of money already or access to a car, this type of work isn't financially viable to those without access to a car.
Ridiculously rude on the phone and fail to provide even sub-par care for elderly people. They're hateful and I would advise anyone against placing vulnerable individuals in their care.
