By email I received a request to respond to survey from Bo’s as well as submit Google review. Surprising since the job is not completed. Communication was o.k. until I signed and submitted deposit in early March. Initially I was told entire process to be approx 2 months dependent on Manatee County permit process. I hope to update this review. But currently I’m waiting on a call back from the general manager of Bo’s. We had a generator put in last week. Three days after install the yellow light came on I called and 8 days to wait for a service tech to come out. A day later the light isn’t even on. I now have a paper weight that looks like a generator in my yard. I’ve called in a few times with promise of calls back and nothing. 10 year warranty and issues from day 1. We had 2 generators installed by Bo's Electric. The service was excellent. Electricians Roger and Coco were excellent. Electrician Roberto went above and beyond and did a stellar install. Gas technicians Donnie and Tom were outstanding as well. I left a five star rating based on the service provided by these teams. However, the office staff deserve a negative rating. Great experience so far with a purchase and install of a full house generator. The sales rep explained everything and the pricing was very competitive. Customer service has communicated each step of the way.
DO NOT PURCHASE from this company. Promises up front, take your deposit and then nothing! No updates and haven’t even applied for permits in 8 weeks! Won’t return phone calls…BEWARE
