The clinic has zero consideration for patient well being and customer service. We had to drive over an hour to get to the appointment, hit some construction traffic, called to let them know we would be a little late and their response was to get there by 14 mins after or the appointment would be rescheduled. My son has been going here for 10 years I do agree the medication refill process is either super fast, or it can become a pain and a long trying process to get certain medication refilles sent in. Boys Town staff is extremely kind and patient and understanding when constantly calling in trying to get a medication refilled . Deb is awesome and nurse Tiffany is also. The communication of staff and nursing is awesome which is why I would never change care for my child.
Dr. Basalay is fantastic to the children, but the rest of the clinic? HORRIBLE. They don’t refill medications, nor do they inform the patient or the parents that they need to be seen before any meds can be refilled. You live out of town? You’re s.o.l. on getting a refill to maintain your child’s mental state, because they won’t do a refill until after the child is seen again. I understand staying in touch with the doctor, but the clinic needs to let people know when there is going to be a hindrance to the refill process... read more
