Over the past decade, Dr. Kunnath and his team have provided exceptional care to our daughter - helping us with her diagnosis and multiple treatments, including several hospital stays. Working through an illness with a child is difficult, however having a medical team that is knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate makes a huge difference. We highly recommend Dr. Kunnath for GI pediatric issues.
Will never schedule another appointment with Boys Town every again. Had an appointment I called prior letting them know traffic was horrible. They said as long as I was there by 8 I would be fine. Got there at 8:01. I had to reschedule and wait another month after waiting 2 months to see Dr. Kunnath and my son has been having issues for 3 months already. Never again! Front desk didn't even bother to check to see if they would see us! From reading the reviews nothing good comes from them anyway so I probably dodged a bullet!
My 2 year old went in to potentially get a scope due to severe vomiting, failure to thrive, not gaining weight, not eating well, and complaining of stomach cramps. We received absolutely terrible care from Dr. Kunnath we waited 45 minutes to see him after our scheduled appointment, I had questions and concerns that he never addressed we saw him for two minutes literally all he wanted to do was blood work he already knew would come back negative. My son had been going to Boys town gastroenterology his whole life and in 2019 we had some vehicle and family troubles going on and I reached out to Dr. Anna K. Trauernicht nurse and explained at that time going to boys town wasn't possible for us because of how far it was and I would have to find some where closer and today November 18 2022 I was told that Anna had fired my son as a patient because of a couple missed appointments and because she did that he can never be seen at boys town again. My son saw Dr Kunnath for reflux and GI issues. This doctor was thorough and thoughtful. His bedside manner was remarkable. We are so blessed to have this level of care.
