We love it here! We switched to Dr. Wilcoxson from a smaller independent pediatrics office. I was nervous switching to a larger network assuming that we would be more of number and less of a name. Not the case. Dr. Wilcoxson talks to each of my kids on their level. Remembers conversations with them from the last visits like career goals and hobbies. We use Children's Physicians with our oldest, and it's been a nightmare. For our youngest, we started off with Boystown Pediatrics and I am so glad we did! We started off with Dr. Orr at the Downtown location and we absolutely adore her! We moved out west and were glad we established care at the Maple office. We see Dr. Gillespie and she is super knowledgeable and so helpful! When we need urgent care, all of the doctors have been wonderful. I used to love taking my boys to boys town. The employees were kind and my boys loved them. Had issues with medicaid and my kids pre adoptive names. This is what caused boys town to fall apart. Took them 10 days to decide they wouldn't fill my sons meds. Then they wanted to shift my oldest to another provider. 🙄 I am done. If I could give negative stars I would.
The clinic located at 168 and maple is awesome. We had our first visit there today. This was our first experience with Boystown healthcare. The front desk staff are efficient and friendly. We met nurse, Grace, who is knowledgeable, engaging, thoughtful and professional. She encouraged me to hold our daughter in a position of comfort during shots and blood draw, which helps the child so much and doesn’t make much more work for the staff at all. Dr Naranjo and her team are awesome! Too awesome that I have to write a Google review. She is very patient listening to all the details and addressing our concerns. Super super good with kids. The team is very considerate. We are separated parents and they brought us two copies of everything as well as school plans and school notes without us even asking.
