Cheryl's been my therapist for years now. She's wonderful, receptive and caring. Which is really important for a positive experience and lasting treatment for anything serious to just having a bad day. I would recommend her services any day.
Ken has been absolutely fantastic to work with from day 1. He listens with empathy and always allows me to feel understood. He’s oftentimes my sounding board and I know I don’t have to hold back. I can say and feel all the things. While we spend a lot of time working on a variety of behavioral tools, we have spent some time doing EMDR and I’ve found it to be incredibly valuable. He’s a quality provider and I highly recommend him to friends and coworkers all the time.
Brainiac Wellness and their providers are an amazing group of people. They don't just believe in talk therapy, they do ART, EMDR, neurofeedback, meditation and relaxation techniques and more. Cheryl is always learning and getting certified in new things or updating her knowledge as well as the rest of the staff. They also offer family and couples therapy.
Can't say I'm too happy, therapy is expensive to not work. I lost my job right before Thanksgiving. Therapy was meant to help me get better and deal with people easier, to help me get past my past so I could move forward, so I could hold a job and build a life. My treatment for a TBI was not as I expected. Multiple times my treatment was interrupted or could not be fully completed without any refund for the session. I did not feel confident in the techs performing the treatment as they seemed to not have adequate knowledge and had to ask for help, again many times.
