Clear review of test results with clear explanation Honest treatment plan clear
I can only say that my experience with Dr. Strawn is exactly opposite of the poor reviews that I have read here. I do not doubt or question the poor reviews, I can only say that I met with Dr. Strawn this week and I couldn’t have been more pleased with all aspects of the visit. I do not feel that I was rushed and he took time to explain everything related to my condition very clearly.
Referred to hin for EMG. Dr. Was curt, condescending and critical of my referring physician. Suggested seeing another neurologist in Chicago., who he didn't name. I lived 150 miles from there. I don't have a car not would my condition allow me to drive. Then he walked out of the room...after telling how to leave the office.
He was the worst doctor I have ever had to see as a patient. He is rude, condescending, unprofessional and should never have been.a.doctor. He would do better working with machines than people. Do not waste your time. See a real doctor.
Dr. Strawn was aggressive and hostile. He tried to bully me into a bunch of inappropriate tests. I’ve met docs with poor social skills but never one that seemed unhinged. Stay clear of this one.
I had a negative experience with this physician. His manner was extremely rude and dismissive. My PCP (from another HealthCare system) had referred me to a neurologist (anyone who could get me in) for debilitating headaches A brain MRI showed significant sinus inflammation.. I waited a whole month to see him and he was rude. The appointment was only 5 minutes long and when I tried to ask questions, he told me “I can’t answer questions unrelated to your condition. You have to see your primary doctor.” My primary doctor is extremely hard to get into and he didn’t seem to care at all. My condition made me unable to go to work for months and he couldn’t even write me a doctor’s note because my request apparently was “off-topic”. Horrible doctor. I don’t get how he is even in the field.
My first appointment with Dr. Strawn went well. He was kind, compassionate, and confidant. He reassured me he would help me thru the process of determining how to make me feel better. When I met with Dr. Strawn in December of 2021, it was as if I was seeing a completely different doctor. He was short, cold, and rude. He called himself "JUST a neurologist" and said I never should have had the impression he could help me.
