We rented from Brandywine homes for 16 months. When we first started working on the lease, we made it very clear that we would need the home for at least 12 months but would not need it for 24 months. Year #1 was uneventful. Our experience with Brandywine Homes has been extremely disappointing due to their consistently poor communication and service. Initially, things seemed promising, but it quickly became clear that their commitment to tenants ends once the lease is signed. We’ve had multiple unresolved issues with our rental property, including maintenance requests that go ignored for months. Communication with the management team is virtually nonexistent. If I could give a negative star as a review I would! The immense lack of communication and professionalism is unbelievable! I applied to Brandywine’s homes on 6/13/24. Initially I submitted mine and my spouses information. After a week of me calling everyday to check on my application I was informed that my husband’s income could not be used because he is an independent contractor. Dont ever! Rent from this company ever! Worst mistake of my life! Maintenance communication horrible! And they left paint everywhere from a fixing a molded ceiling, well covering it back up . Someone told me the entire ceiling is molded and they are just covering it up! My kids keep getting sick and I haven’t had working AC since I’ve been here they keep not fixing the actual problem to same them money. Brandywine had a beautiful home for me to rent. The customer service was professional and efficient. My property manager Holly had great communication about all of my questions and concerns. There was a small issue that required me using my renters insurance and they got it taken care of as soon as possible. I recommend giving brandywine homes an opportunity to find your next home to rent.
