Dr Sankey has been my doctor since I moved here in 2012. He has always been very patient and listened to any questions or concerns. As far as I'm concerned, he'll be my doctor forever.
Due to COVID, my last visit was by phone, however I have been a patient since my return to Waterloo in 2015. I could not ask for a more caring, concerned and thorough physician. His stall is just as caring and welcoming. If I ever have to wait over a few minutes for my appointment I know it is because he is with a patient that needs more attention.
Outstanding doctor-patient communication providing reasons for treatments. Always willing to listen to patient. DO education and practice allows for additional treatment options. Not afraid to refer out of clinic to a specialist if needed. Young enough to have the energy to work many hours. Has a family life away from the office. His staff state that they like working with Dr. Sankey. He is trustworthy.
I would not recommend. I have been a patient of Dr. Sankey for approx 7-8 years. One of the prescriptions I have been taking since 1998 is Xanax. He continued to fill my prescriptions given the length of time I had been taking this medication. I just ran out of my Xanax and Dr. Sankey has done an about face and said he will no longer be refilling that prescription.
