Bronson Behavioral Health center is a relatively new psychiatric inpatient hospital in Battle Creek. They have very kind, considerate, and welcoming staff. They truly care about their patients and are well trained to handle all situations. The food is really good as well and very nutritious! It is a very safe facility where one can go in crisis mode. I don't care what the situation is do not let your loved ones go to this place! My son was having issues. He's autistic with OCD, ADHD, and intellectual impairment. I took him to an appointment and he was put on way too many medications. He ended up not sleeping for several days and was acting completely out of character. Completely not his fault. He was taken to the emergency room and transferred here. He was voluntary but yet the hospital had his Dad sign a paper supposedly for insurance. It is now 8 days since he has been... read more

Awful place. Doesn’t answer their phones. Trust me when I say, you should absolutely avoid sending loved ones to this place. I have a family member in a mental health episode whom went here for care, the facility’s doctors absolutely failed to get her to a baseline and never bothered actually communicating with the family to get her back to reality. Instead they’ve decided they’d had enough and have set her up to come home where she will undoubtedly spiral out of control until being readmitted elsewhere. Absolutely disgusted... read more

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT LET A LOVED ONE GO HERE!!!!!!!!!! They basically drug up the patients don’t let them doing anything no advocacy. They will court order you to stay you can’t leave. Ur loved one will leave worse than they came!! These people will not help you all they will do is make you worse all they care about is MONEY!!!

Listen to me when I tell you this: Bronson Behavioral Health will ONLY keep you physically alive. One-on-one therapy is not offered. The group therapists should be embarrassed that they hold a state license to do this. One group I attended played a Mariah Carey song. One group was just listening to music and coloring. Most therapy I’ve gotten was talking to others patients about the poor care we received. Nurses and BHAs were helpful but overworked and often talked negatively about other patients.
