My daughter-in-law was there for 4 weeks She has end stage liver. She's only in her 40s and needs to get stronger. The first time I went to visit her, some lady at the desk was standing and started yelling at me asking me, where did I come from. I'm handicapped and I was walking with a cane and she wouldn't stop screaming at me and I had to tell her, I was sorry, one of your employees open the door for me because he can see me struggling and carrying things. I left the Beaumont Rehab Center exactly 3 days ago. I was there for 3 1/2 weeks following my heart attack. I was so weak and feeble that I was barely able to sit upright. I am walking now and I owe it all to the exceptional staff there at the center. They were attentive, , friendly, and very serious about their jobs All the nurses and aides were kind and helpful. The the physical therapy staff were patient and supportive. I 'd highly recommend this facility to my own family.

My father is currently here for short-term rehab and I have been pretty happy. Staff are friendly - everyone seems to go out of their way to say hello, which is something I noticed. A care conference with physical therapy, nursing, activities, social work, and nutrition was scheduled shortly after he arrived to give you a sense of the plan going forward. My father was here for almost 3 weeks recently. They changed my mind about sub-acute rehab. My mother was there in 2013 (under Botsford) and it was a terrible experience. My father's experience could not have been more different. I was able to relax and know he was in a safe place and being properly cared for. He had several recent falls at his Assisted Living facility, due to some cognitive issues. He just couldn't seem to remember that he could not walk without assistance, and kept getting up by himself. I am posting here based on my grandmothers care: Her services were beyond excellent. They accepted her medical coverage (Blue Cross Blue Shield) without hesitation. The entire staff were helpful, knowledgeable, kind and patient. There is always a nurse on-call. The central building could use a few more navigation signs, but there's always someone around the corner to assist you.
