Real Equity Management is a completely immoral business. They are driven to profit off the exploitation of college students. Essentially, they have a monopoly on student housing near campus in downtown Columbia with their multiple complexes. The older complexes are in sub par condition, while the newer complexes are naturally more decent. ZERO STARS! DO NOT RENT HERE. Just finished paying $800 month in rent here although my student was not there due to covid. Ok I get it we signed a lease and honored it for the 4 months he was not living there, but now Brookside claims he owes $130 in damages. Thankfully he took photos when we moved him out to prove other wise. BEWARE STUDENTS DO NOT RENT AT BROOKSIDE you can find much better options!

AWFUL!!! STAY AWAY from BROOKSIDE!! Charge Ridiculous Move Out Fees. All 3 of my daughters roommates were charged for Broken Box Springs. SERIOUSLY how do 120lb girls break their box springs. Management told me I dont have to pay but I will be sent to Collections SCAMMERS!! I would give it ZERO stars but I have to at least pick one to post

BEWARE OF ~CROOKSIDE~ 1. if you are a current resident, ALWAYS check your charges and why you were charged. Every extra charge I ever had on my account, except for monthly rental payments, were inaccurate and false. For example, I lived in a different brookside building last year and after moving out I was charged a whopping $1,000 fee for "bed bugs." I know for a FACT, I did not have bed bugs. A) I slept in that bed for the entire year and never once had bites nor did my mattress or sheets contain any bed bugs. B) My mom... read more

DO NOT RENT FROM BROOKSIDE. A RIP OFF. have tried to post a review. But can’t. This is my 6th try. I guess they filter reviews. They entice kids w gift cards to sign leases and do not inform parents. $1000 mo and 3 other roommate paying the same. Broken elevator (only one) dirty halls and 4 kids share a love seat in the living room. This is Columbia mo. Not NYC!!!!

DO NOT RENT FROM BROOKSIDE. A COMPLETE RIP OFF. this is the 5th review I have written and none go through. Overpriced and poorly operated
