A mainstay of the Mass Ave district in Indianapolis, BRU Burger Bar Indy is the first BRU location established under the BRU Burger brand at Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

We had very bad service. We got seated immediately but they didn’t even ask if we wanted to sit in or outside they just assumed outside and it was raining and gross and cold even with the outside heaters. Then we sat at the table for 20 minutes without a single person come to see if we want drinks or anything not even silver ware on the table. they said 45 minutes or less wait we waited 55 minutes & still several people ahead of us. we had show tickets so we left.
Great that you offer the Impossible Burger, and with vegan cheese and mayo even, but then your fries aren’t vegan??? How does that make sense? Who batters fries in egg? So weird and random. A vegan app would be nice, too. I wouldn’t have gone down to a one star if it were only that, but we had to tell the waiter 5 times what vegan meant. He kept suggesting we get the cheese board with no bread, and then said the onion rings weren’t vegan because they had beer in them... 🤦♂️
The mass ave location has great food. Terrible service. No other way to put it.
My pulled pork sandwich was really good, but the fries we got were cold and over done but the onion rings were cold and undercooked. The staff was great and so was the price.
If could give 0 stars that will be my rating, very poor service.. The food was not fresh at all.. and the manager did not apologize for the bad service...I do not recommend this place..
