Located in the heart of Lafayette's historic downtown yet walking distance to Purdue's campus, Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

Service was a bit slow for a week night. Had to ask for drink refills. Food was ok, a little pricey for what you get.
We were excited to go to Bru Burger. We have never had a bad experience at the one in Cincinnati, so we decided to stop at the one in Lafayette, IN. When we arrived we were greeted and then seated immediately. We then waited over 5 minutes to be greeted at the table and it took over 25 minutes after that to get our food. They were not overly busy. Our waitress was not the best... not overly friendly, just did the minimum. Food was wonderful as usual which was good. Just wish the server was a nice as the ones in Cincinnati.
Had burgers on the patio to celebrate getting back into things after now being fully vaccinated against Covid. The patio was perfect, service was great and the food was excellent. I had the "Melt your face" burger, which was nicely flavorful but not too hot (might be extremely hot by Midwestern standards but on my scale it was mild to medium). The Impossible Burger and the Black Bean Burger were delicious! Happy to have a nice selection of vegetarian options.
