I'll be in I decided to give this place a try and boy were we happy we did My husband got catfish and shrimp with a side of Cajun fries and okra everything will tasted wonderful and everything was hot. Very bland, low quality. Would be an insult to call this Cajun food. Gumbo is especially watery & is the lightest colored “gumbo” I’ve seen. No roux was harmed in the making of their gumbo. Crawfish had a blue-greyish hue
It was a place I was really curious about being in the area. The service was good however the food was only subpar nothing to write home about and the gumbo was watery and truly needed more reaux. Thicker the better. Gumbo should always have a muddy look not a broth look. Just my opinion. I'm not big on spending that much money and not having full table service. My husband and I stopped in for lunch today, and what a great experience. We were immediately greeted by a friendly smiling face and knew we had made the right choice in coming here. The greeter was Kaleb and he was also our server. He explained the menu, told us his favorites, which I always appreciate, then took our order. We absolutely love coming here once a month as a family. The staff is always so kind and accommodating with our small children. I’ve had almost everything on their menu and can confirm that we haven’t had a bad meal yet. The catfish here is clean, with none of the “fish” taste and the batter used is excellent! I’d recommend anyone looking for a fish dinner or shrimp dinner come to Bubbas! You will be very happy every time.
