We recently visited one of the model homes from Build On Your Land, and we were extremely impressed with the entire experience. I wanted to make this post, to say I absolutely love my new home. We moved to Aiken last year for work. We looked at homes for sale in the area and couldn't find anything we liked, so we decided to purchase property and build our dream home . I went to build on your land in Aiken and fell in love with the Summerfield farmhouse plan, we chose the options we wanted. And 8 months later we were moving in! Awesome experience. Working with BuildonYourLand has been a wonderful experience. This company has so much integrity. With every step in the process they have gone above and beyond our expectations. They keep their word and are quick to make things right. We love our floor plan. We’ve been in our house for one year and are enjoying it so much.
I hate making this review, but I need to. Be cautious with working with Build On Your Land (BOYL) in Aiken, SC. Due to a failure to communicate effectively by our mortgage loan representative. Land that we were acquiring fell through. For some reason, BOYL began the building preparation process before the land was even acquired. So, the deposit we put down to build a home was taken by this builder and additional charges were attempted to be charged to us.
