Hardwood Floor Refinishing We decided to refinish our 90s, dark-stained red oak hardwood floors to a natural finish. Ky was great to deal with throughout including prompt communication, thorough explanations, options and recommendations. Craftsmanship is evident in the results. The floor is beautiful. Hardwood Floor Refinishing We recently purchased a house that had original hardwood floors which we were really excited about, minus the colour and state of them. The previous owners had allowed the topcoat to be worn away so there was raw wood in a few spots, primarily the dining room under where the dining table was placed, which is shown in the after picture. Thanks Lauren. Those old oak floors always turn out great. Many people see the orange/yellow colour of the floor and think the only option is to rip them out so I'm glad you called me in to restore them. Tearing an old floor out breaks my heart knowing what it could be. As long as you follow the maintenance instructions, your floor should last you a very long time. Tnanks again and take care. Ky

Thanks Shane. I'm sure you would have been more impressed if you watched us back the trailer up. With two spotters and 4x4 it only took 6 attempts.The floor however was in some ways easier to work on as it was Brazilian Cherry. Because it's a harder than normal wood the final sand we did gets the surface perfectly flat which is exactly what you want.
