Happy to report the All American roadside hamburger stand is not dead. It’s alive and well in Islip. The friendly staff is up Serving no frills burgers, chicken sandwiches, dogs and sides in an unassuming road site location this place sparks up instant nostalgia. Fantastic roadside burger stand. Tasty burgers cooked fast and served hot and one of the best crispy fried chicken sandwiches I've tasted anywhere. Lunch for myself and my two teenager sons came out to just over $40
I went there today for lunch break from work and ordered a chicken sandwich. Simple chicken lettuce tomato and aioli sauce it was fresh hot and delicious. Price was $5 ish I forget the exact but I enjoyed it very much. Good price normal serving size fast service and fresh sandwich. I will recommend to my coworkers I took a menu to go. I would get this over a chain restaurant anyday.
I understand that running a small business comes with challenges, but not offering refills on drinks feels a bit disappointing. Perhaps a compromise, like offering refills at a reduced price (maybe 50 cents or so), could be a good middle ground. It would enhance the customer experience without significantly impacting the business.
Located adjacent to East Islip Post Office and Shandon Court on Main St. this new Burger establisment offers quick eats of American fare. Staff was friendly and food was okay. Our party had burgers, fries, knishes, shakes, fingers and fries. Reasonably priced for a private Burger joint. Great location and plenty of outdoor seating. Ample accessible parking right out front. Clean grounds and manicured landscaping. Definitely a good spot to enjoy a late night snack or afternoon desert.
